Shabnam & Jon Drury's Wedding~July 23rd, 2011~Imperial Floor

They met in Las Vegas and then got married in San Francisco. The wedding was all hosted on the 32nd Floor. They had their ceremony in the Victor's Palace and then they invited everyone to Alexandra's Ballroom for the plated dinner and dancing! What a fun night!

Shannon & Jim's San Francisco Wedding

They reunited in San Francisco! Now they are married! They went to school together, lost touch a bit and reconnected on Powell & O'Farrell. Shannon was the Director of Catering here at The Westin St. Francis and moved to Virginia for the love of her life. She could not wait to get back to San Francisco and get married at The Westin St. Francis on The Imperial Floor!

Melody Javaheri & Colin Fischer's Beautiful Union Square Wedding at the Westin St. Francis!

This past year, I had the absolute pleasure of working with Melody & Colin on their special day, June 17, 2011. They incorporated many details into their wedding that were significant to both their ethnic backgrounds, Persian & Swiss, their story as a couple, and also their the fabulous French bulldog, Goosh. The collage below only gives a glimpse of the details, masterfully captured by Kaemmerling Photography, who were wonderful to work with.

Melody & Colin, being very family oriented & social themselves, departed from the typical plated dinner and incorporated Mediterranean-European inspired family style courses like Israeli cous cous, halibut with a leek cream sauce, short ribs with zinfandel merlot, roasted squash and eggplant...

...of course followed by French mignardises by Executive Pastry Chef Jean Francois.
